About the PrimaFeira:
This event is to present and strengthen projects and activities with environmental and social sensitivity in the Dão river basin region. The event is an opportunity for the general public to understand what exists in this region in the scope of sustainable/regenerative projects and to facilitate connection and cooperation between the community involved in these projects (networking).
In true fair spirit, the program will cover a wide range of activities, from artisans to regenerative farmers and from environmental education to wellness activities. Each project plays an important role in vital and future-proof regional development. It will be a fair to share products, ideas, techniques and inspiration for a life in that rural area that is ecologically conscious, economically diverse and socially just.
We chose the banks of the Dão River in Alcafache as the location for this event, highlighting the natural and cultural heritage that exists here, thus enjoying a unique context that highlights the potential of these locations for cultural events.
A PrimaFeira é uma atividade desenvolvida no âmbito do nosso projeto Eco Rede do Dãwith the mission of strengthening regenerative development and protecting the natural heritage in the Dão river basin.
Theme of the 2025 edition:: Água é Vida.
Water is the basis of life and the existence of the water cycle is what guarantees conditions for life in a region. With this theme we touch on the basis for a healthy and sustainable future in the Dão region and draw attention to the appreciation of this key resource. This appreciation goes beyond saving water and also highlights territorial planning and land use, agricultural practices and the extent to which citizens know and care for their water ways.

- Skill sharing and demonstrations;
- project stalls: presentation of regenerative and environmental projects and initiatives in the region;
- Environmental Education Activities
