We are very excited about the opportunity to organize the second edition of PrimaFeira and to do it in partnership with you!
The focus of this edition is the water that sustains us and the Dão river basin. In the program we highlight the work that participants and partners bring, always based on environmental and social responsibility practices. We hope that at this event we can strengthen close relationships between you, between participants and the population and, with a lot of creativity, draw attention to the importance of water and the water cycle in this region.
THE PROGRAM:
We are developing the content of the event with:
– environmental education activities such as a Discovery Trail related to the theme of water and a botanical walk,
- area for well-being activities (yoga, massage etc.)
- area for gastronomy (food and drinks),
- Hang out area (with chairs and tables near the music performances)
- area for creative expression,
– the market (spread throughout the area) with organic, artisanal products, natural cosmetics, plants, services, etc.
We hope that in partnership we can create a rich and impactful program and we are open to proposals and discussion of ideas linked to the areas mentioned above.
Please read with attention the information below and get in touch with us if you have proposals and/or questions.

Important Information for Participants and Partners.
Our requests to the participants of the event:
1. We ask a contribution to participate in the market: €10 base price for half a tent or your own table, €20 generous price and (if necessary) a whole tent, between €20 and €40 for food and drink vendors. If there are children who want to sell things there are no costs. We have 12 large tents available provided by the municipality of Mangualde (images below). These are the basis of the marketplace and we will decide how to fill them together with the sellers. At the same time, we have space for a maximum of 10 stalls (1×1.5mtr) of our own.
2. In partnership with participants and partners we want to create a 'Skill Sharing' program. The objectives are: to facilitate contact between participants and the public, to highlight the value of self-sustainability techniques and behaviors, of saving resources, and of the concept of being a ‘prosumer’ (instead of a consumer). We invite participants and partners to make proposals for the Skill Sharing program.
Indicações: consider a Skill Sharing that is not too complex, take a maximum of 45 minutes, (they are not workshops) and are something in the area of: taking care of resources, DIY, creativity, upcycling, renewable resources, etc. We designate an area with tables and chairs where sharing takes place and the public can watch/participate without the need to register.
3. Help / / Volunteers for the realization of the event:
– 2 people to help with the electricity that will serve the food and beverage area and the sound installation. We will have extension cables, sound installation, refrigerators and microwaves, which should be installed on the morning of the 22nd.
– Extra hands in the ‘Creativity Zone’ – if you have a knack for arts and crafts and enjoy working with people of all ages: we need you!
– Extra hands in the ‘Gastronomy Zone’ – helping food and beverage vendors with the dishes.
– closing and cleaning of the event – between 8pm and 9pm we need extra hands to leave the space clean.
– We are looking for: a large television or projector to show a film, parasols (without logos), cushions and rugs (for wellness and music areas), 2 refrigerators.
4. Fill out the participation form online. To be published soon.
For now: thank you very much for your attention and let's talk and organize a wonderful PrimaFeira!
With kind regards,
The Ruralisar crew: Jane, Daniela, Vitor, Elisabete, Pamela, Narciso, Joana, Carolina, Deborah, Raquel, Freya
